Water heater with integrated buffer tank Crystal Azurite 150/50

The Crystal Azurite 150/50 integrated buffer water heater combines a 150 l stainless steel water heater with two coils and a 50 l buffer tank in one housing. The DHW cylinder is located in the upper part and the buffer tank in the lower part for energy storage and stabilisation of the heating system. If necessary, the integrated electric heater can be activated to further heat the DHW.

• Input from heat pump (collector coil on buffer):
  • Heat flow from the heat pump to the lower coil of the buffer vessel
  • Reverse flow from the buffer coil back to the heat pump
• Connecting the DHW boiler coil:
  • Inlet from the heating/cooling system to the upper coil of the boiler
  • Reverse flow from the upper coil back to the heating/cooling system
• Electric heater:
  • The heater's electrical wiring is connected to a safety switch in the electrical panel
  • DHW temperature sensor controls the on/off switching of the electric heater
• Flow and circulation pipe for DHW:
  • Cold water (inlet) to the bottom of the water heater
  • Hot water (outlet) from the top of the boiler to the domestic mains
• Buffer vessel and heating circuit:
  • Outlet from the bottom of the buffer to the radiator/floor heating system
  • Return flow from the heating system to the buffer vessel (top of the buffer)
  • Additional drain/return valve and circulation pump for the buffer circuit
• Expansion vessel and vent:
  • Connects to the top of the buffer vessel
  • Inlet vent at the highest point of the buffer
• Control module:
  • Thermostatic sensor for the water heater (DHW) mounted on the top of the water heater
  • Thermostatic sensor for the buffer vessel located in the middle of the buffer
  • Interface for control of circulation pumps and mixing valves (if more temperature zones)
• Safety:
  • Safety valve on the boiler, set at 6 bar, installed at the DHW outlet
  • Pressure gauge and thermometer for pressure and temperature control in the buffer vessel
